The XT69 cutting blade is suitable for manual use for angle grinders of all performance classes (including low-drive machines as well as battery-powered machines).
Material suitability:
The XT69 is designed for use on stainless steel (stainless steel, stainless steel), e.g. 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10 or 304), Steel (black steel also called structural steel, St37, S235JR, 1.0037 or carbon steel) and cast steel, cast iron (e.g. GJS, GJL, etc..), titanium but also for concrete products, screed, sand-lime brick, natural stone, marble as well as for aluminium and other non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, bronze, etc.
Structure and fabrication:
The cutting blade contains a high-quality mixture of silicon carbide (SIC) and corundum and 2 full-surface fiberglass fabrics. The minimum side load for the cutting wheel is 40 N according to EN 12413 and oSa, or 50 N from a diameter of 150 mm. The expiration date (three years) is stamped on the bore ring. Complex in-process controls in production ensure consistent quality. To provide maximum safety, every thousandth pane is destructively tested. This is a disc in a straight shape (form 41). Cutting discs with a straight shape allow for a greater immersion depth and therefore more cuts.
