Machine suitability:

The RHODIUS KSM is a grinding disc (Form 27) for angle grinders of all performance classes.

Material suitability:

The RHODIUS KSM was developed specifically for the machining of steel (black steel, also known as mild steel, St37, S235JR, 1.0037 or carbon steel) and cast steel. The KSM grinding disc is ideal for chamfering, for weld seam preparation, for levelling weld seams as well as for breaking edges and deburring. It is also suitable for surface sanding.

Construction and production:

The disc is manufactured according to EN 12413 and safety tested and is oSa-certified. Every thousandth disc is tested for safety at almost twice the operating speed. It contains high-quality abrasive grain (aluminium oxide, also known as corundum) and specially matched phenolic resin as well as a reinforcement of three full-surface glass fibre fabric layers. This grinding disc thus far exceeds the legally required side load of 290 N.

Application:

The KSM impresses with its long service life. Thanks to a fine-grained top layer, the disc has only minimal chipping behaviour.

Dimensions:

The KSM grinding disc has a disc width of 7.0 mm or 8.0 mm and is available in diameters from 105 mm to 230 mm.
